Vision Volunteer
Medford Oregon recently had a
Casting Crowns concert, words can’t explain what took place. It
was a life changing experience to be sure. Medford Oregon Web
Design was honored to be apart of it all, we were there as
volunteers for World Vision. What an incredible evening it was
indeed. The team from theDove was present too, what a great
bunch of people they are too.
The
love that the band showed us was nothing short of amazing. The
songs that they sing are all life songs, hence the release ‘Lifesong’.
They started by walking around all the seating areas praying
over the seats. And then the show started and the King of Kings
was surely there walking amongst us touching hearts of the
hurting and lonely. A hooded painter came on stage and did an
amazing painting on a black sheet that was so powerful (left
stage) I could only stare in great peace.
As the show went
on each band member prayed over us, each one for different
needs. One of the most precious prayers was probably from
Melanie, I didn’t look up to see, but it was a prayer to
mothers. We love you Melanie, I can’t wait to meet Erin. What
an amazing band they are.

Waller were there also, what a night of talent that was. Anyone
who has never been to a Christian concert should really try to
make it to one. When you see all those empty hands raised
praising the God who gives and takes away it is overwhelming.
The peace is unmatched, being surrounded by brothers and sisters
praising The Great El Shaddai.
For the Grand Finally we got around 200 new sponsors for
children and families who have nothing. Not even clean water or
anything else we take for granted. There are few things more
rewarding to know that because of your generosity many will have
the needed items to survive. There was also a drawing for a
Casting Crowns guitar. The pictures at the booth are the crew
from the band hamming it up with Gods children. They actually
spent time over seas with these children and their families. I
am so lucky to have such a bunch of cool brothers and sisters in
the Body of Christ
